| Audience: | This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of HIV specialists, cardiologists, and endocrinologists who are active in the treatment and referral of cardiovascular and metabolic dysfunctions related to HIV infections. |
| Description: | In this activity, two leading experts in the area of HIV management will analyze the latest treatment guidelines for managing metabolic and cardiovascular risk in patients with HIV. Topics in these discussions include cardiovascular and metabolic considerations for individualizing therapy, treatment selection, and insight regarding switching therapies. In addition, practical considerations for the screening, monitoring, and management of these comorbidities in patients with HIV will be discussed.
